On April 1, 2025, renowned Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, took to her X handle to share a lighthearted post in celebration of April Fools’ Day. She humorously announced that after a prolonged period of being single, she had found solace by creating her own AI-generated Christian husband, whom she named ElijahGPT.

In her post, DJ Cuppy described ElijahGPT as an ideal partner who leads Bible study sessions, speaks in tongues, sends daily devotionals, inquires about her spiritual well-being, and never forgets their anniversary. Also, she jested that her AI spouse tithes digitally, adding a playful angel emoji to her message. She concluded her post with the hashtag #AprilFoolsDay, indicating the jesting nature of her announcement.

This jest aligns with DJ Cuppy’s previous public expressions regarding her relationship status and her quest for a life partner. In November 2024, she declared herself as “wife material” by sharing a photo of herself doing laundry, humorously noting her multitasking abilities in managing household chores and matters of the heart.

Furthermore, DJ Cuppy has been vocal about her spiritual expectations from a future partner. She expressed a desire to be so deeply rooted in her faith that her prospective husband would need to seek God first before finding her.

Babcock University Denies Issuing Carter Efe’s Alleged Certificate

Babcock University makes headlines as it speaks regarding content creator Carter Efe, who claimed that he studied at the school and graduated with a first-class degree.

When asked for proof, he shared a certificate that stated “First Class Upper.” However, the university has now spoken out, stating that the certificate is not from the school and is forged.

“Babcock University does not issue ‘Honorary Certificates’ in recognition of undergraduate academic performance. Academic excellence, including the award of First Class Honours, is formally recognized only through the University’s official degree certificate and academic transcript issued by the Office of the Registrar.”

“There is no academic classification or degree known to Babcock University as ‘First Class Upper.’ The recognized classification is First Class Honours.”
