Veteran artist Eedris Abdulkareem is calling on Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to step up and tell his father the truth about how much Nigerians are struggling.

He made this call through his new track Tell Your Papa, which appears to be a direct response to Seyi’s recent comments where he praised his father as the best president Nigeria has ever had—a statement that stirred up mixed reactions, especially among the youth in Adamawa State where he made the remark.

In the song, Eedris doesn’t hold back. He criticizes Seyi for being out of touch with the realities on ground, accusing him of ignoring the pain and hardship ordinary citizens face every day.

He raps, “Seyi, tell your papa say the country don hard. People dey die. This one don pass jagajaga.”

He goes on, “Seyi, your papa no try at all. Nigerians dey suffer. Too many empty promises. Kidnappers dey everywhere.”

The song also challenges Seyi to ditch his security escorts and travel by road like everyday Nigerians so he can truly feel what the people are going through. “You dey fly private jet, so insecurity no concern you,” he sings.

Eedris is clearly using music to speak up for the masses, and he’s not sugarcoating anything.
