Popular Nigerian Singer Tems reveals reason for choosing a path in the music industry.
During a recent interview, the singer recalls when she first made the decision to follow music. “It got to a point where I couldn’t take it anymore.”
“It was really dawning on me like, it’s now or never. I was just putting it off until I developed faith that God will see me through wherever I go.”
She shares that she was aware of the financial aspect but still decided to go ahead and have faith. “Spiritually, I was aware that digital marketing wasn’t my path… It felt really like life or death. It was like this can make or break your destiny.”

The singer shared this in a recent podcast “I have been cancelled for a long time. People think I am not cancelled because I am doing well. Nigeria has cancelled me for a long time, but Nigeria is just like a really small percentage of my market. So, being cancelled doesn’t really affect me.”
