On Thursday, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), addressed the media following a significant meeting with Vice President Kashim Shettima and Mele Kyari, the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

During the briefing at the State House, Lokpobiri conveyed the government’s commitment to addressing the fuel shortages and stabilizing the sector.

He assured the public that the challenges affecting fuel supply and pricing are being actively managed and that solutions are on the horizon.

The meeting, which included high-level discussions with Vice President Shettima and Kyari, was focused on implementing strategies to mitigate the current fuel crisis.
