Fiorentina Midfielder Edoardo Bove Hospitalized After On-Pitch Collapse

The football world is in shock after Fiorentina midfielder Edoardo Bove collapsed during a Serie A match against Inter Milan on Sunday. The game was immediately suspended as players and staff formed a protective wall around Bove while medical personnel attended to him. Several players from both teams were seen in tears as the incident unfolded.
Fiorentina later issued a statement confirming that Bove is under pharmacological sedation and is being monitored in intensive care. The statement added: “Initial cardiological and neurological tests have excluded acute damage to the central nervous and cardio-respiratory systems. Bove will be re-evaluated in the next 24 hours.”
Inter Milan also expressed their solidarity, with club president Giuseppe Marotta saying: “Inter and the entire football community stand with Bove’s family and Fiorentina. Postponing the match was a collective and immediate decision as everyone was deeply affected.”
Serie A confirmed the match will be rescheduled, emphasizing that the player’s health is the priority. Fans and clubs worldwide await further updates on Bove’s condition, hoping for his swift recovery.

Man U Looks to Sign Osimhen Offering Hojlund and Cash in Summer Deal

Napoli is asking for Rasmus Hojlund plus £33.6 million from Manchester United to sign Victor Osimhen this summer. Manchester United is eager to add a strong striker to Ruben Amorim’s squad after a trophyless 2024/25 season. They have been linked to Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, who has a £30 million release clause due to Ipswich’s relegation. However, Delap seems to prefer a move to Chelsea, leaving Manchester United to look for other options.
According to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, United has increased talks with Napoli about Osimhen. Last week, United’s director of football, Matt Hargreaves, traveled to Italy to meet Napoli’s owner Aurelio De Laurentiis and sporting director Giovanni Manna to push for the deal. Osimhen has a £63 million release clause that applies only to clubs outside Italy. Currently on loan at Galatasaray until June, the Nigerian forward has yet to decide where he will play next.

Chelsea and Arsenal Hope to Sign Real Madrid Winger Rodrygo This Summer

Chelsea is showing strong interest in signing Real Madrid winger Rodrygo this summer as they look to boost manager Enzo Maresca’s squad. This move puts them in direct competition with Arsenal, who are also keen on the 24-year-old Brazilian star.
Chelsea recently agreed a deal to bring Liam Delap over from Ipswich Town, signaling their intent to build a stronger team for the upcoming season. Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid is uncertain, with reports suggesting he’s unhappy with his current role at the Spanish club.
The former Santos player is expected to hold talks with Real’s new manager, Xabi Alonso, soon to discuss where he fits in the team’s plans. With this uncertainty, Rodrygo could be on the move this summer, and the club may be willing to let him go for around £67 million.
Several Premier League teams are watching closely, but Chelsea’s Champions League qualification and recent Europa Conference League win make them an attractive destination. Both Chelsea and Arsenal appear ready to compete for Rodrygo’s signature as they look to strengthen their squads for next season.

“Ronaldo Has Helped the League Grow” – Al-Nassr Sporting Director Says

Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr have finally addressed the future of their star forward, Cristiano Ronaldo. On Thursday, the club’s sporting director, Fernando Hierro, spoke openly about whether the legendary striker will stay or leave. Fans have been buzzing with rumors, especially with reports linking Ronaldo to Al-Nassr’s rivals, Al Hilal, as he aims to play in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
But Hierro made it clear that the club is doing everything they can to keep the 40-year-old Portuguese star, whom he called a national treasure. Ronaldo’s current two-year contract is ending this summer, and he will become a free agent. In his time at Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has been prolific—scoring 93 goals in just 105 appearances.
Still, the Portugal captain is frustrated that the team hasn’t won any trophies despite his impressive performance. Al-Nassr finished third in the league this season. Hierro confirmed ongoing talks with Ronaldo about a contract renewal.
“From the start, Ronaldo’s presence has been part of a national project. He’s a huge phenomenon in football history and has helped raise the profile of the league. We are in contact to extend his contract and hope he stays with us,” Hierro said (via Al Nassr Zone on X).
