Fireboy Addresses Artist Conflicts: “Beef Is Normal”
In a recent interview with City FM, Fireboy discussed artist conflicts in the Nigerian music scene, stating that disagreements are a normal part of being human. He encouraged everyone to focus on their own business, saying, “Let artists be artists, fans be fans, and the media keep telling the stories.”
On the ongoing tensions between Wizkid and Davido, Fireboy commented, “Beef is completely normal. We are all human.” He emphasized his desire to live a drama-free life and prefers to stay out of conflicts.
Fireboy also talked about his new album, *Adedamola*, which features collaborations with Lagbaja, Jon Baptiste, Seun Kuti, and Spinall. He mentioned that YBNL boss Olamide, the album’s executive producer, suggested working with Lagbaja and Seun Kuti.
Conflicts among artists are common in Nigerian music, with recent disputes involving Ruger and BNXN, who reconciled to release a joint EP titled *RnB*. Public disagreements between Davido and Burna Boy continue, along with the escalating issues between Wizkid and Davido.

It can be noted that the singer took to social media asking for a graphic designer to create a flyer, which later turned into a challenge that many criticised, stating it undervalued creatives.
Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”
He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
