In a heartfelt message posted on Instagram, Damilola expressed his deep sorrow over her passing.

Also, he described her as a devoted servant of God who had finished her assignment on earth and gone home to be with the Lord.

“My dear sister Tolu, I know you have finished your assignment and have gone home to be with the Lord. We deeply miss you and truly love you.

You have passed the baton to us and be assured—we will not stop running. You have fought the good fight and completed your race. Heaven has gained a precious soul,” he wrote.

Nigerian Gospel Actress and Evangelist Tolulope Adegboyega, the talented actress renowned for her portrayal of Flora in the acclaimed gospel series Abattoir has passed away. Tolulope died on February 4, 2025, after a prolonged battle following a tragic accident.

On December 26, 2024, Tolulope was involved in a severe accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, which resulted in the loss of one of her twins.

She had been hospitalized since the incident, undergoing intensive medical care. Despite the efforts of medical professionals and after undergoing two surgeries, she succumbed to her injuries.

Tolulope’s performance in Abattoir left a lasting impact on audiences, and her dedication to her craft was evident in every role she embraced. Her untimely departure is a significant loss to the Nigerian gospel film community and all who admired her work.
