Former Chelsea Player, Mikel Obi Urges Chelsea Manager to Take Tips from Pep Guardiola
Former Chelsea Player, John Obi Mikel suggests that Chelsea Manager, Enzo Maresca should learn the movements from Manchester City’s Manager.
The former player shared that Chelsea might be out of moves and needs to be as strategic as Manchester City. He stated that their current approach has been learnt by the other teams for the Premier League.
“We’ve been found out. The premier league is where clubs study you. I have said it so many times. Clubs study how you play and straight away they will stop you from doing exactly what you know how to.”
“So you need to find a different way. You need to learn how to tweak things, just like Pep Guardiola is doing right now. Manchester city are not playing 20 passes to get to where they want.”
“We saw against Newcastle at the weekend they went direct. You need to be creative and find a different way of winning games. Right now we’re not doing that. The players look like they’re out of ideas.”
Pep Guardiola reveals why he left Manchester City. It can be recalled that the manager recently left Man City, and now he has revealed his reason during an interaction with reporters.
He shared that he is running out of energy.
“I share the same feeling as when Jurgen Klopp left, I am running out of energy. I feel like I will not have the energy that is required for a game every three days, to fight for titles, being in front of the players every day.”
He then added that he believes the club should have a new manager with fresh energy to direct the team.
Football legend Paul Merson praises Mikel Arteta on his win this season and shares good luck to him in the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain.
He praised the manager, saying that Arteta really pushed the club to the best and the win is well deserved.

Luis Enrique, manager of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), praised Arsenal F.C. and called them the best team in the world after their win in the Premier League.
He shared: “I believe they deserve to win the league — they have had an outstanding season.
“We have already faced this Arsenal team, so we are aware of their capabilities.
“Without the ball, they are the best team in the world, and with it, they can score frequently. This creates a remarkable combination for them.”
