Fugitive Drug Lord Captured in Brazil After Wife’s Social Media Posts
Ronald Roland, a 50-year-old fugitive drug lord, was arrested in Guarujá, Brazil, after a two-year manhunt.
His capture was facilitated by his wife Andrezza de Lima’s frequent social media postings, which revealed their locations. Roland, de Lima, and their daughter were asleep when authorities raided their home.
The operation led to the arrest of eight people and the seizure of cash, jewelry, weapons, vehicles, a boat, and an airplane.
Roland is alleged to have laundered $900 million and had connections with Mexican drug cartels.

Akpabio Represents Tinubu at Lagos Bridge Commissioning
It has been reported that Bola Ahmed Tinubu was absent at the commissioning of the Opebi-Mende Link Bridge, which took place on April 8, 2026.
However, Senate President Godswill Akpabio represented the President and carried out the ceremony.
As he commissioned the project, he stated “On behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I commission these projects.”
