Nollywood actress Funke Akindele and singer Mr. Eazi took to social media to celebrate Nigeria’s 64th independence anniversary on October 1st, sharing messages of hope amidst the country’s economic challenges.

In her Instagram post, Akindele expressed her optimism for Nigeria’s future, stating, “I pray that this country will be great. This is where I earn a living, where I am called ‘gbogbo bigs girl,’ and where I make money to support many people. I will not japa; I will remain in Nigeria, and Nigeria will get better.” She added, “Happy Independence Day to my beloved Nigeria! We have weathered storms, but our spirit remains unbroken. I celebrate our resilience, creativity, and hope for a future where dreams flourish and opportunities abound. Let’s believe in a brighter tomorrow! #NigeriaAt64.”

Nigerian Activist VeryDarkMan reacts as NBC, Nigeria broadcasting commission, bans artist Eedris Abdulkareem latest song “Tell your Papa”.

It can be recalled that Eedris took to the media to lament about the government taking down his song because of the truth.

VeryDarkMan then reacts and vows to assist the artist in broadcasting his song and letting the truth known. “I went to Eedris Abdulkareem’s page and saw the message NBC sent to him that they have banned his song, ‘Tell Your Papa,’ wherein he asked Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to tell his father that there is hardship in the country and people are dying.

“Dear, Eedris Abdulkareem, we are going to shoot another video. This time, we will sponsor it. I will be in the video. We will also look for Tinubu’s lookalike since we can’t get the President to be in the video. We will remake the video, ‘Tell Your Papa 2.’ Then, we will also highlight other problems.”
