Nollywood star Odunlade Adekola celebrated the Lagos premiere of his latest film, Lakatabu, on Sunday, June 16, with an outpouring of support from fellow industry figures. Funke Akindele, Iyabo Ojo, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Brodashaggi, Mr Macaroni, Oluwadolarz, Bukola Arugba, Bolanle Ninalowo, Denrele Edun, Wumi Toriola, and Sikiratu Sindodo were among those who attended the event, making stylish appearances to honor Odunlade.

Funke Akindele notably stood out, winning the best dressed at the premiere of Odunlade’s film.

South African Singer, Tyla surprises fans with performance with American Rapper, Gunna at the Flytimefest. Fans show excitement at the performance and seeing international stars live in Lagos.

The South African singer performed “Jump” and hyped the crowd, towards the end Gunna then appeared giving fans another surprise appearance. After that Tyla performed another hit song “Push to start”.

At the end of the concert Gunna thanks and hugs Tyla then they both exit the stage leaving fans cheering in excitement.

AY Faces Backlash Over Comment on Men’s Support in Film Industry

Nigerian Actor and Movie Producer, AY receives backlash from fans due to his lament about no support for Nollywood Men. Earlier this week the after expressed his discontent with the lack of support for men in the film industry unlike the support for women.

He stated that must have women features before they can get support. “Must we have breast and yansh to have the support of our fellow men?”

The actor releases his statement amid the promotion of his recent movie “The Waiter”. Fans calls out the Actor for wanting to use the pity card in order to get fans to watch his movie. The actor was also criticized for diminishing the works of actresses to their features.
