Garnacho Warns Man United to Let Him Join Chelsea or He’ll Sit on the Bench
Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly made it clear to the club that he wants a move to Chelsea. The 20-year-old is one of five players placed in United’s so-called ‘bomb squad’ and is now pushing for a permanent exit from Old Trafford.
His frustration dates back to May when manager Ruben Amorim told him to find a new club after he expressed anger over starting on the bench in the Europa League final.
United initially valued Garnacho at £70 million but have now lowered the asking price to £50 million. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the Argentine has warned the club to sanction his move to Stamford Bridge or risk having him sit out on the bench for the next six to twelve months.
