The German Embassy in Nigeria made the announcement on Monday, outlining the details of Steinmeier’s itinerary.
During his visit, President Steinmeier will meet with Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, discussing political and economic matters of importance to both countries.
He will also hold talks with Alieu Omar Touray, the President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission.
These meetings are expected to strengthen diplomatic ties and explore further collaboration between Germany and Nigeria, particularly in the fields of governance, regional security, and economic development.
Following his discussions in Abuja, President Steinmeier will travel to Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city, where he will engage with business leaders and representatives.
The German delegation will include top executives from some of Germany’s most successful companies, particularly in the IT, high-tech, and energy sectors.
