The Gombe State Government has shown support for Borno State following severe flooding. Gombe’s Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, currently abroad, sent a delegation led by Deputy Governor Manassah Jatau with a N100 million donation for flood relief.

The delegation visited Maiduguri, offering condolences and support at the Government House and Shehu of Borno’s palace. Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum thanked Gombe for the aid, promising to use it effectively. The delegation also toured the flood-affected areas and prayed for the victims.
