“God Didn’t Tell Me To” — Nathaniel Bassey Explains Why He Won’t Monetise His YouTube Channel
Nigerian gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey has spoken up on the recent controversy surrounding the Hallelujah Challenge. It can be noted that the singer holds live sessions of praise and prayer.
However, people have questioned why he has not monetized his social media accounts, given the large viewership from the challenge, claiming he is losing a lot.
The singer then responded to these claims, saying, “People are dragging me because I didn’t monetise my YouTube channel for the Hallelujah Challenge. I won’t monetise it; God didn’t tell me to.”
Popular Nigerian streamer, Carter Efe, has expressed excitement after singer Davido gifted him ₦20 million.
It will be recalled that the singer recently appeared on Carter Efe’s show, where his appearance alone broke records. Following the show, Davido promised to gift the streamer ₦20 million—a promise he later fulfilled.
Carter Efe made the announcement on social media, confirming that the money had been received. “Yeeeee Davido 20 million naira, I don die,” he wrote.
Afrobeats singers and celebrity couple, Simi and Adekunle Gold, have announced that they are expecting their second child.
