Governor And Dignitaries Join Pastor Tunde Bakare’s 70th Birthday Celebration
Pastor Tunde Bakare holds birthday service at his church, the Citadel Global Community Church in Oregun, Lagos. His church has planned a weeklong event of activities to celebrate his legacy as he turns 70 today. Pastor Tunde Bakare is from Ogun state and is based in Lagos state, therefore he invites both Governors of Lagos and Ogun State.
The governor of Lagos state, Sanwo Olu was seen in attendance of the service program as well as the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Adedapo Abiodun. Apart from these two governors, many former governors of various states were seen in attendance, the former governor of Ekiti, former governor of Ogun state and so more. Excellencies like the Obas were also invited and seen at the program.
And lastly, President Tinubu sends in a representative, George Akume, The Federal Minister of Special Duties of Nigeria, to share his regards to the Pastor. The representative gives a speech at the program and quotes the President stating he spoke and reveals the President only said good things about him for over 20 minutes.

Concern Grows Over Rising Insecurity Following Kwara Abduction Case
It was reported that bandits were seen in Kwara State and abducted six residents from Rukpete Village.
The incident was reported to have occurred on June 8 at about 11 p.m.
Sources revealed that seven people were initially taken, but an elderly man was later released, leaving six victims in captivity.
The rising cases of insecurity in the country remain quite alarming.
