Governor Obaseki Marks End of Tenure With College Commissioning Speech

Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki reign will come to an end on the 12th of November, 2024. He reports that he successfully fulfilled many achievements under his administration.

He stated that he came, he saw and did his best as the Governor of Edo State. He gave this speech at the commissioning of the rehabilitated Benin Technical College in Benin. In his speech he spoke about the commissioning of the college and developmental paths he took into making this successful, he inspired many with his speech and commented on the end of his administration.

“I say What greater glory or gift can you ask from God?. I am leaving office very very satisfied and happy. That I came to this school, I saw the state of this college and I did my best.”

Concern Grows Over Rising Insecurity Following Kwara Abduction Case

It was reported that bandits were seen in Kwara State and abducted six residents from Rukpete Village.

The incident was reported to have occurred on June 8 at about 11 p.m.

Sources revealed that seven people were initially taken, but an elderly man was later released, leaving six victims in captivity.

The rising cases of insecurity in the country remain quite alarming.
