Seun Kuti Speaks on Controversial Claims About Fela’s HIV Story
Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti reveals that his late father Fela Kuti got HIV from one of his wives.
It can be noted that there are claims that it was Fela that gave the disease to one of the wives. However, his son, Seun, addresses the claims and stated it was the other way round.
“Fela made many mistakes. One of the mistakes he made — one day, I saw a video of a lady online saying why are people praising Fela’s legacy despite him giving women HIV and dying of AIDS.”
“I said, ‘Oh, Fela, you see yourself?’ If Fela was a traditional man, he would still be alive. I will tell you something about him that you might not have known, Fela’s women all had other men.”

Nollywood Actors Still Struggling, Says Patience Ozokwor
Nigerian actress Patience Ozokwor reveals a truth in the acting industry and shares how many actors actually struggle financially.
The actress shared in a recent interview and reveals the reason actors even struggle:
“The reason why Nollywood actors and actresses are poor is because we don’t get royalties for what we do, we only get paid for our appearance at the shoot. Go and look at the smallest actors in developed countries. Every work they do fetches them money every day of their lives. Even when they are gone, their families still live on that. We, we are still working hard. That’s why everyone is running to YouTube.”
