Asake Emerges Most Streamed Artist on Spotify Nigeria
It has been claimed that Nigeria singer, Asake is the most streamed artist on Spotify in Nigeria.
It was revealed that his track “Remember” was the most streamed song in Nigeria and “Lonely at the Top” also gained some recognition.
Also, the Spotify platform revealed that Nigerians have created over 25 million playlists for the past 5 years.

Ray Emodi Steps Away from Acting to Focus on Music
Nigerian actor Ray Emodi announces that he is stepping away from acting to focus on his passion for music.
He also added other reasons for this choice as family and health considerations.
“I’ve been through some intense situations, but I’ve also had some of the most rewarding moments of my life on set. Saying no to new film roles hasn’t been easy, but it was necessary. Music has always been my passion, and I want to share this journey with you. I love every Nollywood fan, and I’m not leaving you, I’m just following my musical dreams,” he said.

Asake Shares Challenges Behind His Rise to Fame
Nigerian singer, Asake, revealed that there were some challenges he faced while growing as an artist.
He revealed in a recent interview how he was sometimes rejected because he sang in Yoruba.
However, he expressed that he has no regrets over his decision. “How I got to where I am today is by God’s grace, self-belief, consistency, and endurance. At some point, a lot of people said no to me; they didn’t allow me to perform at shows because I spoke Yoruba. But thank God I didn’t stop, and I kept believing in myself.”
