Gunman Found with Explosives in Attempted Trump Assassination
Reports from US security sources disclosed to Fox News reveal that Thomas Mathew Crooks, the gunman who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump, was found with explosive materials both in his car and at his residence.
The incident unfolded during a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Crooks’ vehicle, parked nearby, contained bomb-making components, including an improvised explosive device (IED).
While specific details on the number and type of explosives were not fully disclosed, it was confirmed that multiple hazardous materials were discovered.
Law enforcement further discovered additional bomb-making materials at Crooks’ residence.
The 20-year-old assailant reportedly used an AR-style weapon during the attempted assassination, firing multiple shots, though none successfully hit Trump, only grazing his ears.
