Hezbollah Leader Threatens Cyprus Amid Rising Tensions with Israel
Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, has warned that Cyprus could become a target if war breaks out between Israel and Lebanon, accusing the island of potentially aiding Israeli forces. This statement comes after Israel warned of an impending “all-out war.”
Nasrallah’s comments follow heightened tensions since the October 7 Hamas attacks and recent cross-border skirmishes. Hezbollah recently released a drone video showing strategic sites in and around Haifa, prompting Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz to warn that Hezbollah and Lebanon would face severe consequences in a full-scale conflict.
Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides responded, asserting that Cyprus is not involved in the conflict and aims to be part of the solution through humanitarian efforts.

Analyst Says Tinubu Not Responsible for Recent U.S.-Linked Airstrike Claims
Nigerian news analyst, Mahmud Jega, has shared his opinion on the recent airstrike carried out by the United States in Nigeria, stating that Nigerians should not blame President Bola Tinubu for the incident.
Jega made this statement during a recent interview, where he said he does not believe many people will hold the Tinubu administration responsible, as Donald Trump had issued threats against Nigeria long before Tinubu’s administration.
“No, I don’t think many people will blame the Tinubu administration for what is happening now because President Donald Trump, when he first made the threats, it was clearly not in coordination with the Tinubu administration or the government of Nigeria,” Jega said.
