Highlights of Hilda Baci’s Giant Pot of Jollof Rice Event in Lagos
Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci once again proved her flair for pulling crowds after hosting a special jollof rice event in Lagos. Known for her Guinness World Record-breaking cook-a-thon in 2023, Hilda gathered fans, food lovers, and well-wishers around what became a massive feast built around Nigeria’s most beloved dish.
The event, which took place at Amore Gardens in Lekki, saw Hilda and her team prepare a giant pot of jollof rice that quickly became the star of the day. With music, dancing, and a vibrant display of Nigerian culture, the gathering turned into more than just a food festival.
Attendees were treated not only to plates of smoky, flavorful jollof but also to a lively atmosphere featuring DJs, entertainers, and performances that kept the energy high. Social media buzzed throughout the day, as photos and videos of the giant pot circulated online, drawing admiration from people across Nigeria and beyond.

Mother of Nigerian singer, Asake revealed that he once rejected the opportunity to study abroad.
In a recent interview with Korty EO, the singer shared that it was against his father to pursue music. His mother then recalled how he came to turn them down on studying abroad and stated he wanted to stay and learn in Nigeria.
