Hisbah Destroys Over 1,750 Crates of Alcohol in Funtua to Promote Good Morals
Hisbah officials in Funtua recently seized and destroyed over 1,750 crates of alcohol and 33 jerry cans of locally brewed beer.
This effort aligns with their mandate to ensure good morals in the state. Hisbah commander commended the officials for their dedication and urged them to intensify their efforts.
He also called on religious leaders for support and appealed to the public to provide information on immoral activities.
Additionally, he encouraged parents, teachers, and community leaders to instill discipline and good morals among youths.

Kaduna Confirms One Death Among 86 Suspected Cholera Cases
The Kaduna State Primary Healthcare Development Agency reported one death out of 86 suspected cholera cases. Hamza Ibrahim-Ikara, the Director of Public Health, shared this during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Kaduna.
He mentioned that while cholera had spread across 30 states in the last five months, Kaduna remained unaffected until August 15. The first case was a 16-year-old boy from Likoro in Kudan LGA, who died before receiving treatment. After his death, the state activated its rapid response team on August 16. Since then, 19 cases appeared in Kudan, Sabon Gari, and Kubau LGAs. Out of 86 suspected cases across nine LGAs, 24 patients have recovered and been discharged.

British Rapper Yung Filly Arrested in Australia on Sexual Assault Charges
British rapper and YouTuber Yung Filly, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been arrested in Australia on suspicion of raping a woman at a hotel in Perth.
The 29-year-old was detained in Brisbane and later extradited to Perth.
He faces multiple charges, including sexual penetration without consent and assault occasioning bodily harm.
The alleged incident occurred on September 28 after a nightclub performance. His bail request was denied, with prosecutors presenting photos of the victim’s injuries. Yung Filly is currently on tour in Australia.
