“I Don’t Have the Gift”: Tiwa Savage Explains Why She Doesn’t Sign New Artists
Popular Nigerian Singer, Tiwa Savage reveals why she does not sign up, upcoming artists.
During a recent interview, the singer shared that she does not have the gift to manage and build the upcoming artists.
Savage shared that she would rather build a school to teach music and let the students be signed a record label.
“Everyone always ask when are you going to sign an artiste? I don’t think I have the gift to sign artistes because they are stressful. I could just wake up from sleep and my artiste is trending for something else.”
“But I have the gift to help, which is why I’m trying to have a music school, where artiste can go and later sign to a label that can actually help.’’
Nigerian actress Rita Dominic expressed her grief and shared a tribute to late actor Alex Ekubo.
“It’s heartbreaking to see a young person in their prime taken from us too soon. I struggle to comprehend it and truly refuse to accept it.
Rest in peace, dear Alex. May you find comfort among the angels. My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones.”
It can be noted that the funeral was held on June 18, where family and friends said their final goodbye.
Nigerian actor Chiwetalu Agu shared a tribute to honour late actor Alex Ekubo.
He mourned the actor and shared his tribute “Rest in peace, Alex Ekubo. I am saddened by your passing. As a fellow actor who has walked this path for many years, I know how much passion, sacrifice and heart you poured into your craft. You were young, talented and full of promise, and it hurts to see a light like yours go out so soon.”
The wife of Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, Nana Otedola, has spoken out to clear up claims about her nationality.
It has been noted that many people have been trying to guess her nationality, with the growing claim being that she is Ghanaian due to her name.
She addressed the issue and stated that she is Nigerian. “To clear the room for everybody, I’m an Egba woman, and that’s the part I’ll gladly claim as a Nigerian. I am not a Ghanaian; my roots are in Abeokuta.”
