Afrobeats queen Ayra Starr, born Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, recently opened up about her relationship status, revealing that her high expectations and hectic schedule make it challenging for dating.

In an intimate conversation with American singer-songwriter Coco Jones for Rolling Stone’s Musicians on Musicians series, the 22-year-old superstar shared her thoughts on love and dating.

Ayra expressed gratitude for not entering the dating scene before rising to fame, saying it allowed her to establish high standards.

“Now that I’ve waited this long, my expectations are sky-high,” Ayra confessed.

“If someone can’t meet them, it’s an easy goodbye.
