Influencer Ruth Sparks Debate Over Wizkid’s Past Relationship with Sophie Alakija
Influencer Ruth has ignited a heated discussion on social media by claiming that singer Wizkid made a mistake by leaving his ex-girlfriend, Sophie Alakija.
Ruth’s comments came after she posted a steamy selfie of Sophie on the X platform, stating that Wizkid missed out by breaking up with her.
Wizkid and Sophie were romantically involved over thirteen years ago, during his rise to fame. Sophie also appeared in his first hit music video, “Holla At Your Boy,” directed by Patrick Ellis.
Despite Sophie being married now, Ruth’s remarks have caused a stir, with many netizens weighing in on the past relationship and Ruth’s controversial post.

Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has shared her views on faith and religion. She explained that her relationship with God is personal and not solely based on church attendance, but something she works on daily.
“I can only try to be as perfect as Jesus is. I am not there yet, but I’m trying my best. I have a very close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, and it doesn’t come with me only being in church.”

It can be noted that the rapper had earlier expressed her frustration on social media after discovering her card was stolen and used before it could be frozen.
She later revealed that the stores where the transactions occurred captured clear images of the suspects, and she intends to pursue justice.
“I got clear pictures of you all in Saks and in Apple. One thing about me is that I don’t play with my money. You all are going to jail,”.
