Leicester City’s Manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy reveals that he had a serious discussion with the Manager of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim, amid his dismissal from Old Trafford.
He stated the discussion played an important role as it reflects the events of his departure from United. Nistelrooy shares that he was disappointed and hurt at his dismissal from the team.
“The moment I took over the interim job, I made it clear that I was here to assist United and intended to stay on for that purpose. This commitment was genuine, and I felt an attachment to the club.” “Thus, it was truly disappointing for me, and it hurts to have had to leave in this manner.”
