In a recent interview with El Chiringuito, Cristiano Ronaldo addressed the ongoing discussions about him potentially reaching 1,000 career goals. With 923 goals in 1,261 games to date, he is the only footballer to have surpassed 900 official goals.

Despite this remarkable achievement, Ronaldo expressed that the constant focus on hitting the 1,000-goal mark has become “a bit annoying.” He emphasized that while reaching the milestone would be great, he is not obsessed with it.

Ronaldo’s illustrious career has seen him play for top clubs like Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, and he continues to be a prolific scorer at 39 years old.

In the 150-year history of football, only 24 players have scored 500 or more goals, with Ronaldo leading this elite group.
