James Brown Turns Heads in Diaper-Themed Outfit at TrendUpp Awards 2024
James Brown, a popular Nigerian crossdresser, made headlines once again for his outfit at the recently concluded TrendUpp Awards 2024.
The highly anticipated awards ceremony took place on July 7th, 2024, at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, and was attended by numerous celebrities including Denrele Edun, Neo, Beauty, chess master Tunde Onakoya, Nasboi, Pastor Remote, Yhemolee, Kiekie, Sydney Talker, TikToker Peller, Liquorose, Craze Clown, Saga, Mr Macaroni, and others.
However, James Brown stood out online for his attire at the TrendUpp Awards 2024, which was entirely covered in diapers. His shirt, long skirt, and purse were all diaper-themed, marking a departure from his usual style. His appearance at the event sparked discussions online, particularly when he confidently approached the platform where singer and comedian Nasboi was performing.

The legendary designer went all out for Beyoncé’s UK tour stop in London, spending more than 11,000 painstaking hours on two jaw-dropping outfits that lit up the stage at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The outfits weren’t just glamorous—they were personal, bold, and a perfect reflection of Beyoncé’s Western-inspired tour theme. Each one captured a different side of her stage persona, blending high fashion with performance energy in a way only Beyoncé and Versace could pull off together.
The First Look
The first outfit was nothing short of a showpiece. Beyoncé stepped out in a crystal-covered white bodysuit, paired with long fringe chaps that swayed with every move she made. The chaps were a dramatic touch, giving off rodeo vibes while still looking chic and powerful. The outfit was made with extreme care—every crystal hand-applied, every stitch precise. To top it off, Beyoncé added a stylish cowboy hat and Versace’s signature Medusa emblems, creating a perfect mix of modern glam and Southern swagger.
The Second Look
The second ensemble was a complete contrast but just as striking. Beyoncé emerged in a massive quilted baroque-print ball gown, reimagined from Versace’s iconic designs of the 1990s. The gown featured a tightly fitted corset and a full, sweeping skirt, giving off a dramatic, almost queen-like energy. But this wasn’t your usual royal gown. Beyoncé added her own twist with crystal-detailed cowboy boots, chunky Medusa necklaces, and another bold cowboy hat, merging the regal with the rugged in a way that only she could.
It wasn’t just about the clothes—it was about the heart behind them. Donatella revealed that these two outfits took over 11,000 hours of combined work to bring to life. Her team of artisans spent weeks on each piece, with everything made by hand. Every shimmer, every fringe, every layered detail was carefully placed to make sure the looks were flawless on stage.
Donatella said seeing Beyoncé wear the outfits was an emotional moment. She even got the chance to meet her backstage before the show, and described the experience as magical. She praised Beyoncé’s professionalism, attention to detail, and how effortlessly she brought the designs to life in front of thousands of fans.
