Jamie Foxx Delivers Emotional Speech at BET Awards: “This Is My Second Chance”
Popular American Actor Jamie Foxx gives a heartwarming speech about his health recovery during the 2025 BET Awards.
The award ceremony was held on the 9th of June, 2025 in Los Angeles, the event was hosted by Kevin Hart. During the receiving of Jamie Foxx’s award, the actor gives an appreciation speech which turns emotional because of his experience.
He described the opportunity as his second chance to life, his second chance to do it gain after his serious battle with Stroke. “I cannot even begin to express the love that I feel from everybody out there. I don’t know why I went through what I went through, but I know my second chance, I’m not gonna turn down.”
The Love Island USA Season 8 cast has reunited ahead of the show’s highly anticipated reunion.
The reunion is scheduled to air on August 31, 2026, on Peacock, with Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen returning as co-hosts. The reunion was filmed on August 10 at Universal Studios, with the cast arriving for filming and fans getting a first look at their reunion appearances.

Nigerian TikTok influencer Peller makes headlines for his vows to his wife, Jarvis, at their white wedding, which was held on August 1, 2026. The couple had previously announced the date ahead of their wedding.
The influencer added in his vows “We are one. Whatever is mine is yours. I promise to do 50/50 with you; I don’t care what people say.”
Fans were left in awe of the couple and shared how their love appears genuine despite the content and jokes they often make online.
Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon offers Peter Okoye ₦500 million if he beats his brother, Paul Okoye, in a boxing match.
It can be noted that the music executive wrote out the offer on his phone and simply put it out “₦500 Million Naira to fight your twin in a boxing match.”
