Jason Cundy Recommends Caoimhin Kelleher for Chelsea
Former Chelsea star, Jason Cundy has advised Chelsea to sign Liverpool’s backup goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher to replace their first choice which is Robert Sanchez. Cundy backed up Kelleher to Chelsea by stating he is too good to be kept as a number 2 goalkeeper. Kellher has proved himself in Liverpool since their goalkeeper got injured.
“What was really evident to me at the weekend was that Chelsea’s No.1 is not as good as Liverpool’s No.2,” Cundy said on talkSPORT.Whenever Kelleher is in goal and he is played a lot in the last 18 months to two years both in the Carabao Cup and Champions League, he never looks out of place.“He’s too good to be a number two. I want him [at Chelsea].” It is now up to Chelsea to have further discussions to consider Caoimhin.
