Jemima Osunde Shares Three-Year Health Struggle After Illness from Movie Set
Nollywood actress Jemima Osunde has opened up about a devastating experience she had on a movie set in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The actress revealed that she contracted a life-threatening illness after consuming food provided during the production, leading to a three-year battle with GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease).
The illness stemmed from an H. pylori infection she picked up on set, leaving her health in a fragile state.
Sharing her ordeal on her X account, she wrote, “I’ve never regretted anything as much as taking that job and going to Ibadan to shoot under their care.
Got H. pylori from the set food, and the GERD aftermath has had me fighting for my life for the last three years. This past month has been really tough.”
Nigerian Fuji artist Shanko Rasheed Atanda sadly reports the loss of his first son, Jamaldeen Atanda.
The artist took to social media and revealed this sad news.
“So sad, no parent prays to lose a child in their lifetime but Alhamdulilahi Jamaldeen Emirs Atanda JNR rest well my champ I will surely tell you all about it when I see you again. Omo Ola sun reeee,” he wrote.
