Jennifer Lawrence Confirms She’s Expecting Second Child
Jennifer Lawrence is expecting her second child with husband Cooke Maroney. *Vogue* confirmed the news after Lawrence was spotted with a baby bump in Los Angeles. The couple already has a son, Cy, who was born in 2022, and they have kept the details of the pregnancy private, confirming only the news without additional comments.
In a past *Vogue* interview, Lawrence discussed her experience with motherhood. She shared how her perspective changed after Cy’s birth, noting the emotional complexities of becoming a mother. She mentioned that some women might not immediately connect with their child but felt prepared for that possibility thanks to honest conversations with friends. After giving birth, Lawrence felt as if her life had restarted. She quickly fell in love with her baby and developed a new affection for all newborns.
Nigerian singer Mr Eazi has opened up about business and how he actually failed before becoming successful.
In a recent interview, the singer shared that he borrowed €40,000 from his uncle to start a business, but the venture failed.
“I remember one time I took money from my uncle to do business; the business went south. And then he was chasing me for the money… I was so embarrassed that my dad had to pay,” he said.
He added that the experience sharpened his mindset on business.
Popular Nigerian actress Oby Kechere, known for her role as “Madam Koi Koi,” has unfortunately passed away after battling an illness.
The news was revealed by the Directors Guild of Nigeria, which stated “It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Madam Cecilia Oby Kechere, Vice Chairman of the DGN Abuja Chapter.
“We were informed yesterday that she passed on Monday, 27th April 2026, after a prolonged illness.”

Nigerian streamer Carter Efe made headlines following his recent boxing match against singer Portable. The outcome of the match saw Carter Efe emerge as the winner.
It was revealed that the fight took place at the Balmoral Centre, with a ₦50 million prize on the line. After three rounds, Carter Efe came out victorious.
It can be noted that Portable’s last match was against Speed Darlington, which he won.
