Jisoo Hits 1.3 Billion Streams on YouTube Music with Just 7 Songs
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is showing the world that talent, grace, and a strong connection with fans can go a long way—even with a small number of songs. The singer has now crossed 1.3 billion total streams on YouTube Music, and she did it with just seven tracks to her name.
Jisoo made her solo debut in March 2023 with the single album ME, which features just two songs: “Flower” and “All Eyes on Me.” Despite the small tracklist, the album became an instant success. “Flower,” in particular, took over global charts and social media, thanks to its catchy sound and viral choreography. The music video for the track currently has over 523 million views on YouTube, making it one of the standout solo releases in K-pop history.
What’s even more groundbreaking is that ME became the first album by a Korean female soloist to hit 1 billion streams on YouTube Music—a milestone that speaks volumes about Jisoo’s reach beyond her role in BLACKPINK. Within just two days of its release, the album sold more than 1 million copies, setting a new record for female solo artists in South Korea.
But music isn’t the only place Jisoo shines. She’s also been exploring acting, starring in the K-drama Snowdrop and preparing for her role in the upcoming film Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, which is expected to premiere in summer 2025. Earlier this year, she also launched her own label called Blissoo, stepping into a more independent and creative space in her career. What makes Jisoo’s 1.3 billion stream milestone even more amazing is how she did it. No deluxe albums. No massive collaborations. Just seven songs, driven by pure artistry, loyal fans, and a global presence that keeps growing.

He reacted to the fact that he received backlash for using Peller as an example. “Some people are saying I shouldn’t have called Peller’s name, but I said what I said. If you feel offended, you should check yourself. A lot of people are also taking what I said out of context. The olodo uprising is even worse than I thought because there are so many people coming out to defend it.”
“My call is to people that are tired of brain-rot content. There is no reason why intelligent people cannot be streamers or content creators.”
