Portuguese Football Manager, José Mourinho left the Super Lig Match frustrated on Sunday, with his team winning 3-2. Despite the team victory, Mourinho expresses his frustration over the refereeing style in Turkish Football and how His team, was given two penalties. He felt the penalties were biased and it was unjustified.

He blames Fenerbahce for telling him half truth and bringing him to the. “I blame the Fenerbahce people that brought me here.”

He stated that if he was told the whole truth he would not be here. “They didn’t tell me the whole truth because if they told me the whole truth, I wouldn’t come. But, with half of the truth and my boys, we fight opponents and the system.”

Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey has opened up about a difficult period in his career, revealing that he almost stepped away from football.

Speaking during a recent interview, Bassey shared that he once made a personal promise to himself to quit pursuing football professionally if he failed to secure a spot at a professional club.

“I remember being 15 and going into my final year, and I told myself that if I didn’t get into a professional club, I would quit football. It was that simple,” he said.

“I would just stop pursuing it seriously and only play for fun. Thank God I eventually got a club, because I honestly don’t know where I would be otherwise.”
