The struggle to make ends meet was so intense that he often walked long distances, particularly from Agege to Ikeja.

“I’ve worked from Iyana Oba to Oshodi, then Eko. It wasn’t easy,” he confessed. “I’ve worked so hard in life. May God crown my effort.”

Lagos, known for its vibrant yet chaotic transport system, is not an easy place to hustle, especially as a conductor.

The routes Ibrahim mentioned are some of the most hectic in the city. For context, Iyana Oba is a bustling area near the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, known for its gridlocks and crowds.

Oshodi, a major transport hub, is infamous for its chaos, with buses, traders, and commuters filling every available space.

Meanwhile, Eko (Lagos Island) represents the heart of the city’s business activities, full of daily hustlers trying to earn a living.
