Nigerian Actor Kanayo O. Kanayo takes to social media to speak on the popular color superstition. The actor shared how many are used to associating black to bad luck and white as good luck.
This information was prompted due to longstanding tradition of the Vatican. The actor stated “When they fail, it’s black smoke. When they succeed, it’s white smoke… This has been ingrained in the minds of the world that black is failure.”
“Let blue smoke mean a new Pope has not been elected and let white smoke mean he has. Remove the black. It’s not good for us.”
