Court documents reveal that Young-White, who is seeking full custody of Adeya, criticized Kehlani’s parenting and claimed that her religious community had extensive childcare responsibilities, including bathing and sleeping with Adeya. He also alleged that an unnamed leader in the community faces accusations of sexual assault. Young-White’s name does not appear on Adeya’s birth certificate, but he hopes the legal process will rectify this. The court has ordered both parties to undergo mediation to discuss their custody agreement.
