Kenneth Okonkwo, veteran Nollywood actor and politician, has addressed speculations about a rift between him and the 2027 Labour Party presidential flagbearer, Peter Obi.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Okonkwo explained that there’s no personal issue between him and Obi. According to him, his loyalty is to the party he belongs to, and whoever emerges as its candidate will have his support.

He added that his connection with Obi started in the Labour Party, and since the party was the foundation of that bond, any shift in political direction would naturally require new decisions going forward.
