Kim Kardashian Fears Trauma Has Made Her Emotionless Robot

Published

on

American reality star Kim Kardashian expressed concern about feeling like she’s “turning into a full robot” with “no emotion” due to past trauma.

On the July 18 episode of *The Kardashians*, Kim shared her mental health struggles with her sister Khloe. Kim’s therapist suggested that she might be desensitized from trauma, making her “frozen in fight or flight” mode. Khloe speculated that Kim’s tendency to remain calm could be linked to the traumatic 2016 Paris robbery, where Kim’s composed demeanor may have been a survival mechanism.

Khloe recalled that Kim wasn’t calm before the robbery, describing her as emotional and prone to tantrums during her teenage years and twenties. However, Kim’s demeanor changed drastically after the incident, believing her calmness saved her life. In a private conversation with the cameras, Kim reflected on the robbery, recounting how she stayed calm while being threatened at gunpoint and tied up. She acknowledged that while her calmness helped her survive the ordeal, it has since led to emotional numbness, making her worry about being taken advantage of and losing touch with her emotions.
