Kogi State Lawmaker Threatens Legal Action Over Salary Allegations

A Kogi state lawmaker in the House of Representatives has threatened to sue a Nigerian resident in the UK named Adeola for making false claims about lawmakers’ salaries and allowances on social media.

Adeola alleged that lawmakers receive various substantial monthly allowances, including ₦2.5 million in basic salary, ₦7.5 million for furniture, and several others.

The lawmaker, Elder Leke Joseph Abejide, expressed his frustration, stating that such misinformation damages reputations and misleads the public. He urged the House to take a stand against these false accusations.

Recent reports have revealed that Jin, the eldest member of the globally adored group BTS, is gearing up for an exciting collaboration with renowned TVN director Ryu Ho-jin.

Sources indicate that Jin has officially agreed to make a guest appearance in Ryu’s upcoming drama, titled “Hall of Fame.”

Also, Ryu Ho-jin, celebrated for his successful work on “Accidental Boss,” is currently busy assembling an outstanding cast for this new project.

The show, after all, is an outdoor variety program, aimed to explore diverse locations and cultures across South Korea.

It’s designed to engage viewers through a series of day trips that feature quizzes on Korean culture and fun missions, also brilliantly blending entertainment with education.

Having completed his military service in June, Jin is eager to dive back into the entertainment scene.

He recently made a memorable guest appearance on MBC’s “It’s Good to Be Well Rested,” where he showcased his vibrant personality.

Additionally, he has launched his series called “Run Jin,” where he shares his signature sense of humour.

Jin has also finished filming for the upcoming Netflix series “Kian’s Bizarre B&B,” which is set to be released next year.
