Korra Obidi Wins Permanent Restraining Order Against Ex-Husband
Nigerian content creator Korra Obidi has secured a permanent restraining order against her ex-husband, Justin Dean, more than two years after their contentious divorce. The couple, who split in 2022 after having two children, faced a tumultuous separation marked by public disputes and legal battles. Korra’s sister, Nancy, took to Instagram to announce the restraining order, describing Dean as a “stalker” who defamed, harassed, and threatened Korra online. Nancy revealed that Dean had enabled a stalker to access and exploit personal content involving Korra’s children, including sharing inappropriate videos for financial gain.
Nancy’s post also detailed the various challenges Korra faced, including Dean’s refusal to contribute to their children’s expenses and his attempts to undermine her career. Despite spending nearly $200,000 on legal fees, Korra has fought to maintain her custody rights and protect her children from Dean’s interference. The restraining order marks a significant victory in Korra’s ongoing battle to reclaim her personal and professional life, with Nancy expressing relief and hope for continued justice.
