Kunle Remi Issues Warning to Social Media Trolls Over Negativity
Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has had enough of negativity on his social media and has issued a firm warning to trolls. On October 20, 2024, he took to Instagram to express his views, stating that he will block anyone who brings negativity to his page. He emphasized, “This page is for positivity and good vibes; I’m not seeking followers or engagement. If you approach me with darkness and negativity—whether you’re a friend, fan, or family member—I WILL BLOCK YOU. I hold my space and energy in high regard, which is why I usually ignore such nonsense. My boundaries are clear. Love, light, and fhingz!”
In his post, Remi also cautioned his followers against absorbing too much negativity online. He advised, “Sunday message: Be mindful of how much negativity you take in. People often unknowingly connect with harmful influences that can taint their well-being, sometimes due to generational patterns. Those who laugh at or comment on negativity contribute to its spread and invite negative energies into their lives.”
He added, “Remember, the internet never forgets, and many have faced lasting consequences, both financially and personally. Ultimately, it’s crucial to protect your positivity and distance yourself from darkness. Love, light, and fhingz,” he concluded.
Music executive Ubi Franklin speaks on music and shares how music is actually very risky to get into, and he explains why.
He states that no matter how much you put into music, you are never sure of how much you will get back.
He said “Music is the riskiest business I’ve ever done. You need ₦100m to promote one song. Even if TikTok carries it, you still need money to keep it on the charts because people have short attention spans, and there’s no guarantee you’ll get your money back.”
Popular singer Lil Nas X shares an emotional tribute to his mum.
The singer took to social media and shared: “RIP TO THE BADDEST EVER! LOVE U FOREVER MOMMY. this one’s gonna hurt,” he wrote in the caption.
The rapper shared this over the weekend. No one is really sure of the details, her age, or how or when she died. However, many sympathise with the singer as he loses a parent.
Nigerian actress Mo Bimpe gets emotional online as she states that she was invited to Rakeem, Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux’s son’s birthday party and had a good time.
She then got emotional, remembering when she was not usually invited to such events because she did not have kids. She always felt sad because of this, so going for this birthday party made her happy.
She added at the end “Please don’t make it harder by excluding people. A woman without a child is not less deserving of love, friendship, inclusion, or celebration. Invite her. Love her. Celebrate with her. You never truly know what someone is carrying behind their smile.”
