The Kwara State Government has issued a warning to public sector workers who have not registered with the Kwara State Residents’ Registration Agency (KWSRRA), stating that they risk losing their November salaries and bonuses.

Dr. Hauwa Nuru, the state’s finance commissioner, emphasized in a statement on Monday, November 11, that the registration, which began in July, is mandatory for all state employees.

KWSRRA is tasked with collecting data on residents to improve planning, resource allocation, and public safety. “The integrity of our data impacts all financial and administrative systems,” Dr. Nuru said, noting that registration ensures efficient and fair resource distribution.

The government urges unregistered employees across all 16 local government areas to comply promptly to avoid missing out on their compensation.
