Lady Gaga Addresses Transgender Rumor Silence
Lady Gaga explained why she chose to ignore rumors about being transgender. In an interview with “Variety”, she said she didn’t want to make it seem like being transgender is shameful.
“I didn’t feel like a victim, but I thought of kids who might face the same and didn’t want them to think I felt shame,” she said. Gaga also noted that addressing rumors isn’t always in the best interest of others. Recently, she announced her engagement to Michael Polansky, whom she met through her mom.
