Lady Gaga Confirms Engagement to Michael Polansky
American pop star Lady Gaga has confirmed her engagement to her French boyfriend, Michael Polansky. The 38-year-old singer announced the news during a chat with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics over the weekend.
In a TikTok post on July 28, Attal shared a clip of Gaga introducing Polansky as her fiancé, surprising fans with the revelation. The couple first sparked dating rumors when they were seen together at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas in 2019, later confirming their relationship on Instagram.
Despite a reported separation in early 2023, they appeared to have reconciled by August of that year. They celebrated Gaga’s 38th birthday in March with friends at Giorgio Baldi in California. At the Paris Olympic Games opening ceremony, Gaga expressed her deep connection to French culture and music, despite not being French herself.

He shared how she initially ignored him despite his attempts through a friend to get her attention.
“I met my wife in Babcock. I remember the day I saw her, I was in a Prado. I looked behind and I saw her walking and it was Chioma. I told Lati I like that girl. I told him to call her but she snubbed me. Later on she came to Lagos and then we linked up.”
