“Lagos Is Like New York” – Nigerian Singer Charly Boy Says the City Belongs to No Tribe
Nigerian singer, Charly Boy, shares his thought on why Lagos state does not being to any tribe in Nigeria.
The singer expressed that he agrees with the saying “Lagos is no man’s city” and shares “This is our first capital, so it has people from different ethnic groups who make Lagos really bubble. If you are looking at it from that perspective, yes it feels like America, the melting pot of lots of immigrant people and look at how Donald Trump is messing the whole thing up, everything up.”
“From that perspective, in terms of people coming together, it is really a no man’s land, it’s like New York. Lagos is like New York of Nigeria.”
Nollywood actress, Lizzy Gold Onuwaje reportedly lost her father on Boxing Day, 2026. The actress took to social media and shared a tribute to her father, describing it as her greatest fear.

Carter Efe made the announcement on social media, confirming that the money had been received. “Yeeeee Davido 20 million naira, I don die,” he wrote.
