LeBron and Bronny James Make NBA History Together

LeBron James and his eldest son, Bronny James, made NBA history on Sunday by playing together for the Los Angeles Lakers during a preseason game against the Phoenix Suns, which the Lakers lost 118-114. They took the court together at the start of the second quarter, marking a significant moment for the family. LeBron scored 19 points in over 16 minutes, while Bronny struggled with zero points in slightly more than 13 minutes.

After the game, LeBron reflected on the emotional significance of playing alongside Bronny on his son’s 20th birthday, emphasizing the importance of being a positive influence in his life. Lakers coach J.J. Redick praised the duo’s performance, noting it highlights both LeBron’s longevity and Bronny’s hard work.

LeBron stated that playing with Bronny has revitalized his career as he enters his 22nd season. While Bronny is expected to spend most of his rookie season in the G-League, the Lakers will begin their regular season against the Minnesota Timberwolves on October 22.
