Leicester City are already on a new journey to appoint a new team manager, the club has set their eyes on Man Utd legend, Ruud van Nistelrooy. The club are interested in the impressive skills of the manager and are planning to acquire him.

If the appointment successfully happens, Van Nistelrooy will manage the Nigerian International, Wilfred Ndidi. The club aims to stop the poor performances of certain players to improve the team.

The team is also optimistic to see if they can secure Van Nistelrooy and see his services in the team. Former Team Manager, Steve Cooper’s reign ended at the team having a defeat to Chelsea with 2-1.

Speaking during a recent interview, Bassey shared that he once made a personal promise to himself to quit pursuing football professionally if he failed to secure a spot at a professional club.

“I remember being 15 and going into my final year, and I told myself that if I didn’t get into a professional club, I would quit football. It was that simple,” he said.

“I would just stop pursuing it seriously and only play for fun. Thank God I eventually got a club, because I honestly don’t know where I would be otherwise.”
