“Let The Outdated Belief That Single People Are Miserable, Lonely, Or Sad Stay in 2024” – Toke Makinwa
Toke Makinwa, a well-known media personality, has spoken out against the common belief that being single automatically means being lonely or unhappy.
In a recent post on her X handle, Toke challenged the idea that people’s happiness is solely dependent on being married.
She emphasized that many single individuals are living content, balanced, and fulfilled lives.
Toke also pointed out that there are countless people in unhealthy relationships or difficult situations who, deep down, might envy the freedom that comes with being alone.
As the year comes to a close and 2025 approaches, Toke encouraged a shift in mindset, urging society to leave behind outdated notions about single life.
She wrote, “Let the outdated belief that single people are miserable, lonely, or sad stay in 2024.
There are people stuck in situations they hate who secretly wish for solitude.
Let people live their lives the way they choose.”
