Loni Anderson, the golden-haired TV icon best known for playing Jennifer Marlowe on the classic sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati, has died at the age of 79. Her passing comes after a long battle with illness, just two days shy of her 80th birthday. She died peacefully in Los Angeles, surrounded by loved ones, according to her publicist.
Anderson became a household name in the late 1970s with her sharp, confident, and glamorous portrayal of Jennifer; the clever receptionist who stood out not just for her beauty, but for her brains. Nigerian influencer and media personality Simi Sanya has made headlines after sharing her views on cooking for your partner.
She stated that just because a woman is in a relationship with a man does not mean she has to prepare his meals.
“You can’t tell me to come to your house over the weekend and be cooking for you because we’re in a relationship. Was that the plan? No? Didn’t I tell you before?”
She then used her marriage as an example, sharing that she doesn’t stress herself in marriage. She said she sometimes cooks spaghetti or yam and eggs for her husband, and he does not complain.
